Taksim Diamond Hotel - Istanbul

Where to begin? The room was tiny, with a shower clogged like a public restroom. I almost expected a room upgrade as compensation for my experience, but no, just the same rude cigarette smell pushed me to my limits. Breakfast was average, but I couldn't help but notice how rats were served, all very 'fancy'.

Had very central location to Taksim square. We had single room to ourselves with the aircon and bath plus personal toilet. The staff was superbly friendly, really kind, and responded promptly to requests.

The rooms were impeccably clean with GOOD BUFFET BREAKFAST and the aircon, as example, nothing to complain about. Location: the hotel was really close to metro station.

The room was spotless and included central heating, a safe and multi-channel TV, appreciated it. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi. Location: the hotel was really close to the city center of Istanbul, the centre of Istiklal street, and tourist locations.

The location near Taksim Square made it super convenient for exploring restaurants and shops. The breakfast offered daily had decent variety, although it was the same each morning. My room, a Standard Double, felt a bit cramped for two people, which wasn't quite what I expected based on the description. The bathroom door had issues and wasn't locking properly, which we reported, but no one attended to it . The staff seemed overwhelmed and not very attentive, disappointing, especially when they ignored our requests for extra pillows. The noise from the street made it hard to sleep at times. The room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well. The furnishings were basic but functional, including a tv and an electric kettle. Nice to have breakfast included, even though it could benefit from more variety.

I have stayed at taksim diamond before, and this visit exceeded my expectations. The staff was super nice and helpful, and the spacious room was perfectly decorated. Definitely a great stay for families or couples.

The breakfast was fresh every morning, easily one of the best parts of my stay, and I had a cozy Standard Single Room, although it was a bit smaller than expected. I’d definitely choose this place again!

This was an excellent fit for a quick layover in Istanbul with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast offered fresh pastries each morning, making mornings a lot better. Make sure to avoid peak hours for a more relaxing experience during breakfast.
